"The Official Gay Guide" - Thomas & Wolf
The Inn has an interesting modern eclectic decor. Located on Castro
Street, the Inn is just minutes from center queerdom. Full breakfast included. The
clientele enjoying this Inn is upscale, but not chic people who like the gay environment.
It is hard to find a better location for visitors who want to be in the center of the
exciting Castro Neighborhood. Bars, shops, restaurants and public transportation are just
steps away from their front door.
"SF Access Guide"
One
of the smaller guest homes in the City. Intimate surroundings make it truly a home away
from home. The interiors are contemporary white walls, track lighting, classic modern
furniture, brilliant flowers and original art. Breakfast is served every morning on an
extensive and constantly changing collection of imported china and stoneware dishes.
"San Francisco" - Frommer's
One of the better choices in the Castro, a half block away from all the
action, in the Edwardian inn decorated with contemporary furnishings, original modern art,
and fresh flowers throughout. Almost all rooms have private baths and direct-dial phones
and color TV. Most rooms share a small back patio, and the suite has it's own private
outdoor sitting area.
"Queer SF"
Though this is undoubtedly one of the more expensive options for Sheer
Lodging in SF it is also worth it. This place has the reputation of being one of the
nicest gay Bed & Breakfasts in the area.
"The Rough Guide of San Francisco" - Bosley and Jensen
A long-standing favorite with visiting gays, this luxury B&B doesn't
come cheap but is worth the price for the large rooms and good breakfasts.
